At Little Big Shoe, we believe that every young adult deserves a chance to connect, have fun, and
build meaningful friendships. Our organization is dedicated to providing social, recreational, and
skill-building opportunities for young adults with special needs in a supportive and inclusive
environment.
Each month, we organize a variety of events—bowling nights, karaoke outings, museum trips,
and more—where participants can socialize, try new experiences, and strengthen their social
skills. These activities create safe, welcoming spaces where everyone is encouraged to explore
their interests, express themselves, and feel valued.
Our participants are always at the heart of what we do. Through these social opportunities, they
gain confidence, make new friends, and enjoy experiences they might not have otherwise. And
it’s not just about the participants — friends, families, and volunteers are invited to join in,
creating a vibrant, supportive community for everyone involved.
Little Big Shoe also works closely with the Big Shoe Life Skills Program and partners with local
businesses and non-profits to expand the opportunities we provide. By collaborating with others,
we can bring even more exciting and meaningful experiences to our participants.
Whether you’re a young adult looking to join our community, a parent seeking supportive social
programs for your child, or someone who wants to volunteer, Little Big Shoe welcomes you with
open arms. Together, we’re building a space where everyone belongs, has fun, and thrives.
